Job Tittle : Java Developer

Location : Carlsbad, CA ( LOCAL ONLY )

Duration: 4+ Months Contract

Rate : DOE

Required Skills:

Experience with other programming in JSP, Servlets, Spring, HTML and Struts 

Experience with database-driven application development and object oriented programming

Experience developing in an iterative Agile development environment 

Experience with Linux, Solaris or some flavor of UNIX and browser technology

Experience with SAS under Linux/UNIX

Experience with defect-tracking software, automation testing tools, and version control systems

Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL or DB2)

Experience with Python, Perl, UNIX Shell or other scripting languages 

Experience with ANT, Maven, or Subversion

Experience with XML and Java bindings

Direct working experience working with statistical models and strategy rule sets

Familiarity with IntelliJ, Eclipse or similar IDE

Familiarity with Persistence Frameworks: JPA, Hibernate, or iBatis.

Familiarity with Apache, Tomcat, JBoss and Web Services

Work experience manipulating large scale datasets (exceeding 1 TB) 

Ability to think strategically and act tactically 

Ability to be a quick study and take initiative to learn new software tools

Ability to work independently and in a team environment including interactions with remote teams 

Excellent oral and written communication skills
