6 months Contract to Hire Employment.

 

Note: For this positon we need only GC and US citizens only

The Cognos Developer designs, develops and deploys dashboards, PowerPlay cubes and Report Studio reports using the Cognos Business Intelligence technology suite.

 Position Description (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):

 Develops dashboards and visualizations, cubes, and reports utilizing the Cognos 10 BI suite

Creates, enhances and maintains Framework Manager models to support business requirements

Develops and implements test plans to ensure successful delivery of a project

Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

 

Basic (Required)

 

· Minimum 3 years experience with Cognos Business Intelligence suite

· Minimum 3 years experience with Oracle database technology

· Experience in developing dashboards and visualizations, cubes, and reports utilizing the Cognos 10 BI suite

· Strong communication skills verbal and written with ability to speak with non-technical stakeholders

· Key Competencies include problem solving and analytical skills

 Preferred

· Experience with Cognos BI 10

· Experience with Oracle 10g

· Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, IBM AIX, and Shell Scripting

· Undergraduate degree in computer science, management information science or other relevant degree.
