Location

Washington DC Metro Area (Maryland)

ETL  Architect

Job Description

·         4+ years of solid hands on ODI development and implementation, preferably with hands-on expertise developing solutions with ODI 11g
Solid understanding of ODI's knowledge modules and overall tool architecture
6+ years of experience designing and developing Data Warehouses and Data Marts i.e. ETL experience.

·         Experience in Healthcare Industry is a plus

·         A minimum of 5 years' experience developing large scale data warehouse solutions with at least three large scale implementations with progressively larger degrees of responsibility and scope of implementation.
Understanding of Data Modeling principles and various modeling technique

·         Expert level understanding of the ODI toolset and its configuration & scheduling capabilities. Practical experience in loading data, troubleshooting mappings, tuning mappings, etc.

·         Hands on experience with SQL, SQL query tuning.

·         Deep knowledge of Data warehouse features, performance considerations for at least one leading database, preferably Oracle.

·         Must have experience in  Data warehouse design and architecture

·         Relevant experience in relational and dimensional models, analytics and reporting.

·         Demonstrated expertise utilizing Oracle Data Integrator and relational database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server

·         Understanding the design considerations for star schemas and its relationships.

·          Understanding the concept of data rollups/aggregation, capacity planning, data standardization, slowly changing dimensions, and data security.

·         Must have good communication and customer interaction skills
