Title: Lead Dot Net Web Developer (Skype hire)
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 1+ year

MUST HAVE 10+ YEARS OF Software development experience
Responsibilities include:
· Analyze and Independently research / troubleshoot technical issues, provide alternatives, and recommend solutions
· Develop estimates and basic plans for implementing technical solutions
· Identify risks and mitigation strategies for implementing solutions
· Provide status updates to managers including issues management and escalation
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in computer field
· Excellent oral and written communication skills including:
· Fluency and comprehension in discussing highly technical issues
· Ability to write technical documentation when needed; and develop succinct, informal white papers after researching technical issues
· Confidence to participate in client team discussions
· Assertiveness to probe for requirements, identify risks, recommend alternatives, and escalate issues as needed
· 10+ years software development experience using ASP.NET, C#, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL
· Requires a broad understanding of technology and direct experience developing and maintaining complex public and internal web sites including
· Implementing code changes and performing deployments for complex public and internal websites
· Maintaining documentation for installation and maintenance of sites and applications
· Implementing database changes
· Experience working with the Ektron Content Management System
· Experience working with Windows WCF Services or SOAP Web Services
· Experience developing with Microsoft SharePoint
· Experience developing automated test scripts
· Graduate degree in an IT field
· Server administration (IIS, SQL Server, etc.)
· Experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server
· Unit and load testing
