■      Over 7 years of experience with Business Intelligence tools like Cognos 10/8.x (Report studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Event Studio, Metric Studio Framework Manager), Cognos Administrator, Transformer, Power Play Enterprise Server (OLAP), Upfront, Access Manager and Directory Server.

■      Expertise in creating complex reports like Executive Dashboards, Cross tab reports, Top ten reports, ad-hoc reports, Charts and Score card reports using Report Studio.

■      Strong working experience in Dimensional Data Modeling, Star Schema Modeling, Snow Flake Modeling, Physical and Logical Data Modeling, Fact and Dimension tables.

■      Excellent knowledge on MDX Functions in Report Studio using Multi-Dimensional Sources (DMR Mode and Power play Cube) and IQD Packages through transformers.

■      Expertise in Cognos (Framework Manager, Query Studio, Report Studio, Essbase, Cognos Connection).

■      Strong experience in generating various reports (Dashboards, Master-Detail, etc.,) using Report studio.

■      Usage of Query Studio to build ad hoc Business reports and Report Studio to build advanced reports (multi-page, multi-query reports) against multiple databases.

■      Experience in deploying packages from one environment to other.

■      Migration of Cubes and Reports from One environment to different environments In Cognos 8.

■      Expert in all stages of Software development life cycle (SDLC) which includes requirement analysis, design, development, testing and documentation.

■      Expertise with the set of code libraries, i.e. jars or dlls by using SDK language.

■      Experience in Migration of the applications from Cognos Series 8.3 to 8.4 BI.

■      Experienced in Installation, Up Gradation and Production Support of Cognos Series 7 and Cognos 8.

■      Designed the architect model, developed the Cognos Query and packages for production and demonstrations.

■      Extensively worked on performance tuning for existing reports in Report Studio and Testing and improving Report Performance and performing Query optimization through SQL.

■      Experience in coming up with data cleansing, backup and restoration strategies.

■      Excellent Verbal and Communication skills with strong potential to learn new technology and adapting to new tools/environment.
