Extensive knowledge of Essbase syntax and use of Essbase Administration Console (EAS) for creating calculation scripts, reporting scripts, MaxL scripts, MDX scripts, business rules, data load rules and dimension load rules
Experience implementing Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications and converting business requirements into equivalent Data Forms, Business Rules, etc. using Hyperion/Essbase toolset
Experience creating and maintaining Essbase Block Storage (BSO) and Aggregate Storage (ASO) cubes including Dense/Sparse settings and performance tuning
Experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) toolsets (e.g. Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica)
Experience in creating automation scripts for Essbase cubes using Esscmd/Maxl/MDX, Batch scripts and Shell scripts
Experience developing reports in Hyperion Financial Reports, Web Analysis (or Web Analyzer) with multiple dimensions and complex hierarchies
