Description/Comment:
Ensure formal variance thresholds are established for both internal and external reports, and variance analysis reporting procedures are in place.
Clearly communicate performance reporting standards so all project leaders understand them.
Ensure every project team member delivers quality reports to performance measurement.
Analyze variances, and determine their causes.
Assist in the documentation of the project's performance against plan.
Report status to upper management, including budget plan vs. actuals, management of internal change requests, proposed modifications to reporting templates, etc.
