This Contractor is required to be a U.S. Citizen due to duties that may expose the employee to Export Control restricted data. Role Java-Support Ability/willingness to learn and support Livelink, PHP, ASP, Workflow based applications and Web Server environments PL/SQL experience Ability to provide results, working independently with limited direction of others. Strong business, customer support, and interpersonal communication skills Roles and responsibility Primary area of responsibility will be Web Application Support Application support for multiple applications globally which includes Java/J2EE, PHP , ASP, and Support central technologies Initiating and Coordinating Incident Response Activities on Incidents. Provide support throughout the application lifecycle using the standard customer defined support environment comprised of process, hardware, software, and network connectivity Coordination with Oracle technical team for raising SR & follow-up for issue resolution Support third-party applications Update application code & database objects/data, as applicable. Perform comprehensive testing – functionality testing, regression testing All incidents to be tracked through Issue Tracker/Problem Management Ticket till RCA is identified/issue is fixed Support central applications support. Deliver enhancements and change with quality and on time (as per SLAs defined in this document). |
To carry out security testing to identify any vulnerabilities in code. Review Support metrics, reports and trends with customer Leader on a weekly basis Document and update the issue resolution knowledge-base on timely basis Ensure comprehensive user training and timely communication to GE whenever required during the support process. Assist infrastructure team in case of unplanned outage Operational support for LiveLink using Open Text Enterprise Content Management System. Proactively identify and eliminate problems and bugs in existing applications, with adequate approvals from customer Provide support for the planned outages during on/off work hours Desirable Technical / Functional Skills Total experience in required skill (years) 3+ Years expereince in J2EE Application Support.
