Role and Responsibilities | OMS Busniess Analyst
Interact with business partners, team members, and Information Services staff to ensure the smooth development and installation of assigned projects or purchased software.
· Translate business and functional requirements to create functional and technical specifications using system level appropriate modeling and documentation techniques within defined application architectures.
· Accountable for the successful delivery of system design deliverables.
· Understand system architecture sufficiently to facilitate resolution of technical issues and incidents.
· Identify problems and gaps at the program or system level and recommend alternative solutions.
· Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and quality of work.
· Ensure consistency and the proper level of reusability in the technical design of applications. |
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills | Strong experience IBM Sterling Commerce Suite
Exceptional Technical Understanding of Sterling OMS (Order Management System)
Exceptional Functional Understanding of Sterling OMS (Order Management System). knowledge of WebSphere Message Broker and WebSphere Application Server. Ability to read, build and process XML using java.Help analyze, troubleshoot, and tune Sterling Commerce.
Develop and propose Sterling OMS-centric processes, policies, and standards. Responsible for delivering Sterling business functionality by working closely with Enterprise Services Bus developers, legacy system developers and infrastructure team members.
Strong foundation in Java and good technical knowledge of Sterling Order Management System components, API’s, and related Interfaces
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.
· Displays initiative, self-motivation, and effective time-management skills.
· Multiple years of experience in a professional environment performing analysis, design and development tasks on multiple platforms. |
