Job Information:

Title: WebLogic Administrator / Systems Admin

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: 6+ months project

Interview procedure: phone screen followed by in-person (in-person interview is must)

 

H1B s are fine. We will also consider System Administrators with WebLogic experience, who may not call themselves WebLogic Admins.

 

Description:

·         SSE Applications Operations

·         Minimum 5years of administering, configuring and troubleshooting Oracle WebLogic Server in an enterprise-scale production environment.

·         Minimum 5years administering, configuring and troubleshooting Web Server Technologies in an enterprise-scale production environment. Preference on Sun One and iPlanet Web Servers.

·         Minimum of 5years administering, configuring and troubleshooting LDAP technologies in an enterprise-scale production environment. Preference on Sun Directory Server.

·         In depth working knowledge of production root cause analysis and problem resolution, high availability infrastructure designs and best practices and securing application traffic with SSH and SSL.

 

Technical Skills:

·           BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience

·           5+ years of relevant professional experience in an Operations Support or Production Support environment.

·           Basic telecommunications and wireless industry knowledge.

·           5+ years of experience working with Solaris and/or Redhat Linux operating systems.

·           5+ years of experience working with Sun One Application, Web, and Proxy Servers.

·           5+ years of experience working with UNIX shell scripting ksh, PHP, or perl.

·           5+ years of experience writing complex Oracle PL SQL queries.

·           Experience working with WebLogic server

·           Experience working with Oracle WebCenter would be a plus

·           Experience working with Veritas Cluster Server would be a plus

·           Experience working with LDAP would be a plus.

·           Posses general knowledge of Network, VPN, and be able to distinguish between application vs. network problems

·           Experience providing CSS/ACE Support would be a plus

·           Working knowledge of Information Security concepts, including security policies, standards, and guidelines as they pertain to system configurations
