Location:Princeton, NJ
Rate: $55/hour
Duration: 6 month contract.
Interview mode: face to face interview.
• 3 to 5 + years' experience in development
• Must possess strong user experience background and a full understanding of Microsoft products, specifically SQL Server, SSRS, .Net, VB, HTML and other web technologies
• Perform hands-on development and coding of application components.
• Knowledge of java script, Ext JS will be a plus
• Proficient with the DOM and asynchronous event-programming model
• Strong OO design skills with good coding disciples using MVC framework
• Proficient in C# ( 4.0 )
• Proficient in SVN
• Working knowledge of relational database especially with Sql Server.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly dynamic, rapidly growing environment
• Financial business experience is very desirable, particularly front office trading knowledge.
Mid - Level Developer
With over one trillion in processed securities, State Street Global Exchange (SSGX) is responsible for the delivery of risk reports primarily to funds of hedge funds and institutional clients. Such reports contain mainly model analytics, risk statistics, stress test. These analytics are produced through State Street's proprietary software, truView, and its pricing models.
Person joining the team will be expected to work on the following modules- projects:
• Trade and Cost Analysis processing
• Enhancing the current product based on the business needs.
Job Responsibilities:
• Will be responsible for working on various development related activities including maintaining the existing product suite and developing new functionality.
• Will be responsible for analyzing the requirement, talking to business analyst for enhancement of the requirement and taking it all the way from conceptual phase to implementation phase and working with QA team to make sure that it gets tested and delivered to UAT.
• Creating a POC and presenting it to the team for wider acceptance of the requirements
• Completes own role independently or with minimal supervision/guidance
• Experienced, fully competent in own area
• Shares own expertise with others; may co-ordinate activities of others/the team
• Interprets internal and/or external business issues and best practice in own discipline; applies to own role
• Promotes teamwork and works to establish consensus among team members
• Demonstrates creativity, the ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
