Job Title: Citrix Engineer
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 6+ month contract
Job Description:-
• Significant demonstrated expertise (3 to 7+ years) designing, building, and maintaining complex, multi-farm Citrix environments specifically with high volume VDI deployments.
o 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, managing, and migrating VDI environments using Citrix.
o 7+ years of experience with Remote Access Technologies based on Citrix and RSA.
o 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows 200x Server.
o 3+ years of experience implementing, deploying, and supporting Citrix NetScaler.
o 3+ Years' experience implementing, deploying, and supporting Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix Provisioning Services.
o Extensive and proven knowledge of Citrix technologies: XenApp, XenDesktop, Provisioning Services, Citrix NetScaler/Advanced Access Gateway, Web Interface and EdgeSight.
o Extensive and proven knowledge of Microsoft Technologies: Server 2003 & 2008, Windows XP & Windows 7
o Extensive knowledge of Internet Explorer and other browser configurations.
o Strong background with AppSense Management Suite, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory Policy Management and Storage Area Networks.
o Experience PowerShell scripting.
• Has played a lead role in architecture, design, implementation and documentation with SME knowledge in one or more related technology areas.
• Significant experience in high availability and disaster recovery functionality.
• Significant experience with tuning application hosting environments to ensure optimal performance.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
• Has significant experience in vendor management, communication with vendor engineering and vendor product development.
