Java Developer with mobile development Exp
Location: Bristol, Connecticut

Job Description:
We are looking for a Core Java Developer that has a mixture of server
side, web development (front-to-back) and mobile development
experience. You will join a team of front-end and back-end developers
in the creation, implementation and ongoing support of personalized
and socially connected experiences to digital platforms on the web and
mobile devices for Entertainment Sports Programming. S/He will use
leading edge open source technologies to solve challenging technical
problems in a fast faced, sports focused environment.



Knowledge and Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of Core Java experience with expertise in
multi-threading/concurrent programming, data structures, and
object-oriented design
Should have expertise with Core Java (JDK 1.5 and above)
Must comfortable with different technologies such as Spring/POJO/IOC,
JSP/Servlets, JQuery, CSS, HTML, and XML
Knowledge of Web Services Architecture (REST and/or SOAP), Apache-CXF,
Apache-Axis, JAX-WS, JAXB
Cayenne, Hibernate, iBATIS, or other Object/Relational mapping
experience will be beneficial
Strong MongoDB or SQL development (preferably experience working with
large volumes of data) with a good understanding of database
connectivity and integration
Understanding data distribution including XML (structures, schemas,
XPath, and/or XQuery), API's, and Data feeds, and database replication
Experience and understanding of the Agile/Scrum, Extreme Programming,
Pair Programming, or Rapid Application Development process
Demonstrated strengths in identifying and analyzing problems,
troubleshooting and potentially resolving software bug issue
Previous big data experience using Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Pig is a plus
