QA Engineer

KEYS:

  • Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence, Business Architecture, Data Warehousing, Database structures and query formats with stronghold on SQL and Oracle systems.
  • Experienced conducting Functional, Integration, Stress, Unit, Smoke, Positive, Negative, Usability (System), Deployment, Black Box, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing
  • Experience in writing SQL queries and scripts for data analysis

Description

* Develops and executes test cases. 

* Documents problems identified in testing and reports results. 

* Manages the execution of multiple, complex test plans by preparing assignments, providing training and guidance and reviewing activities to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

  • Wide experience conducting Functional, Integration, Stress, Unit, Smoke, Positive, Negative, Usability (System), Deployment, Black Box, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries and scripts for data analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills in understanding business process and functionality requirements while translating them into system specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of various Software Development Life Cycles, testing methodologies and environment including: Agile-SCRUM, and Waterfall models.
  • Knowledge of manual as well as automated testing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence, Business Architecture, Data Warehousing, Database structures and query formats with stronghold on SQL and Oracle systems.
  • Strong knowledge and proficient in creating UML diagrams such as Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams.
  • Good experience in making the business users learn about the newly implemented system during the implementation stage and maintenance.

·         Knowledge of Six Sigma standards and protocols.
