Candidates with prior SAP integration experience in combination with required skills sets (as described below) may be submitted at a higher rate (e.g. $70-75/hr. pay rate) if necessary.

Spring MVC is not a hard requirement; TOMCAT is a must. Contract is likely extendable past 6 months. PhD level is not required for this position.

A 6-month contract Senior Software Engineer position is immediately available to support an ERP system integration initiative. This position will be involved in:

• Requirement gathering for system migration.

• Design discussion with other members of the technical team on site and across different sites.

• Primary developer responsible for coding, configuration management, unit testing and documentation.

• Support post migration bug fixes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor, master or Ph.D. degree in computer science or related fields with over 7 years of software development experience.

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Ability to multi-task and meet demanding timeline

• Proficient in Java development with J2EE technologies and web services with RESTful/SOAP API

• In-depth understanding and significant experience in designing and implementing relational database management systems, preferably with Oracle and PL/SQL is essential

• Strong experience in Java web development with MVC framework, e.g. Apache Struts, Spring MVC, etc

• Proficient in client side web technologies and frameworks, i.e. Javascript, CSS, YUI, jQuery,

• Proficient in web development programming environment e.g. TOMCAT application server, SVN code version system, Eclipse, Ant is essential

• Prior experience with SAP system integration with Java applications is strongly preferred

• The position is expected to work on site full time.
