JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duration              :  12+ Months contract

Location               :  Everett, WA

 

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this position you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

·         7+ years of recent experience with the Java programming language

·         2+ years of experience (4+ preferred) developing enterprise applications using WebSphere software suite (ESB/BPM/DataPower)

·         5+ years of experience with SQL, extensive knowledge of Transaction Scope, Stored Procedures and Triggers is preferred.

·         Experience maintaining Enterprise Service Bus implementation using IBM WebSphere

·         Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD) knowledge, including experience implementing common design patterns in real-world systems

·         Strong knowledge of SOA including both SOAP and REST approaches

·         Experience integrating with existing systems by meeting pre-defined APIs

·         Experience providing high-availability applications and data-checking capabilities

·         Understanding of UML

·         Familiarity with application design principles, development tools and methodologies, Test-Driven Development, SCRUM, Database Versioning and Change Control

·         Strong verbal and written communication, excellent organizational skills, proven experience working in a collaborative team environment

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment to deliver requirements on a regular, recurring schedule

·         Work well independently with strong self-direction and initiative, but know when to collaborate or seek guidance

 Strongly Desired

The following skills are strongly desired:

·         Experience with multiple databases (Oracle, Informix, DB2, MS SQL, MySQL)

·         Experience in the Telecom domain

·         Experiencing defining, developing, and building upon complex domain object models, preferably Telecom

·         Understanding of UNIX scripting and WebSphere shell scripting
