1)      OBIEE + Informatica Developer – Senior Analyst Programmer – 4 Positions – Very High on Priority.. Code on WCN – 3141 – Experience – 6 to 7 Years

2)      OBIEE + Informatica Developer – Technical Specialist –(Technical Lead) – 2 Positions – Very High on priority – Code on WCN – 3142 – Experience – 8 to 10 Years

 

JOB DESCRIPTION : -

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Work with the global Reporting projects team to understand the requirements of the project

·         Understand the current landscape of reporting systems and various reports used by Equity & Research business

·         Engage with the strategic Oracle data platform being developed to understand the data being provisioned and the data access layers

·         Problem analysis and resolution – with a focus on Data analysis

·         Designing and development of best-in-class reporting solutions as per the business requirements using the strategic data sources

·         Document technical design specifications for report definitions and layout

·         Execute changes: designing, timely development and testing

·         Work with Project Managers, Technical Specialists and other subject matter experts to identify and understand the ongoing issues in production environment

·         Troubleshoot tools, systems, and software; performance-tune these applications as necessary

·         Participate in SW development lifecycle at various stages (Requirement, Testing, SIT, UAT etc) for validation &  verification of proposed solution for a business problem

 

Experience & Qualifications required:

·         B.E./B.Tech. or M.C.A. in Computer Science from a reputed University.

·         industry experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition

·         Proven record of achievements as a reporting developer for global applications with an understanding of internationalisation aspects

·         Experience of complete project lifecycle execution from Requirements Analysis to Production Support.

·         3rd Party Products integration experience and experience of integrating them into a systems solution.

·         Experience of working with multi-cultural and geographically

 

Essential Skills:

·         2-3 years of experience in RDBMS in writing PL/SQL in Oracle 9i or above

·         Good understanding of different data workloads and appropriate design considerations

·         Candidate is expected to have an eye for detail and be able to detect and resolve functional issues.

·         Knowledge of any well known software development life-cycle methodology (preferably Iterative development)

·         Experience in implementing high security features for sensitive data.

·         Experience of working with Data Warehouse (Oracle preferred)

·         Experience in performance tuning of applications

 

Desirable Skills & experience :

·         Experience or familiarity of Sybase, T-SQL

·         Experience of re-engineering legacy BI/Reporting systems

·         Exposure or familiarities to reporting tools used in Financial Industry like Vermillion, Business Objects etc.

·         Exposure to ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) tools such as Informatica

·         Experience or knowledge of service based application development and integration

·         Understanding of the Investment Management industry, particularly Equities Portfolio Management processes.

·         Exposure to the J2EE set of technologies and the Websphere family of products

·         Experience of developing application frameworks

·         Willingness to work in different time-zones as required

·         Willingness to travel overseas at a short-notice
