SAS Predictive Model Technical Writer
Location : Columbus, OH (or possibly Wilmington, DE).
Duration : 6 months plus
Create technical documentation under guidance of model developers
- Develop and prepare detailed documentation for a team of statistical modelers creating predictive models to forecast credit card account holder purchase, payment, and delinquency behavior
- Ability to pull data from the credit datamart and convert it into output, which can be modeled.
- Work with Business Managers to assist them in understanding their business better through ad-hoc analysis and model development.
- Historically, Tech Writing was embedded within the modeling function. It has since been broken out into a stand-alone function as a result of CCAR work.
- Some modeling experience is mandatory.
- Required understanding of the domain space such as: Business Economics/Finance. Prefer product domains include Mortgage, Credit Card, Auto.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills to clearly present analytical findings and make business recommendations via the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and possibly other documentation tools such as LaTeX
- Preference will be provided to those with demonstrated modeling experience in consumer and retail business banking and those with an understanding of the risk drivers for consumers and small business accounts.
