KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Solid knowledge of .NET Framework 2.0, NET Framework 3.0, NET Framework 4.0 integration with IIS, Windows OS and database connectivity
Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and 2013 installation and administration, to include SharePoint application triage & troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory Accounts
• General knowledge of Load Balancers
• General knowledge of MS Clustering technologies and configurations
• Experience supporting applications in shared or virtual environments
• Extensive experience with performance monitoring tools and analysis i.e. MS PerfMon
• Strong knowledge of designing, troubleshooting and tuning IIS 7.x environments
• Intermediate SQL in reference to writing and tuning queries
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server Engine (SQL Server 2008), Stored Procedures, Tables, Foreign Keys, Indexes
• Strong knowledge of application and OS performance tuning in Windows 2003, 2008, 2008 R2 environments.
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server systems management.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office products
• Intermediate scripting knowledge in areas of system task automation (i.e. PERL, Powershell)
• Basic knowledge of Terminal Services
• Basic ability to read and modify XML files
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Participate in a shift pattern/on-call rotation providing cover 5x24 and on-call Saturday & Sunday support
• Travel may be required.
• Flexibility in scheduling with a willingness to work extra &non-standard hours
• Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team structure, but also independently
• Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet agreed deadlines, with demonstrable Productivity (Incident Completions etc.)
• Culturally diverse and inclusive
• Required to work in a virtual Environment
• Fluent in English language, written and verbal
