Profile:
As a Software Engineer for the Application Engineering you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions for projects with Spotfire.
Skills:
• Strong conceptual understanding of relational database systems.
• Strong ability to understand analytic specifications, translate specifications into TIBCO Spotfire visualizations and /or underlying code.
• Troubleshoot Spotfire issues encountered by customers and escalate in-house or to TIBCO as necessary.
• Strong ability to develop meaningful and consistent quality checks throughout the development process.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to work independently, creatively, flexibly, and as part of a team.
• Proficiency using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Outlook).
• Expert in MS-SQL Queries/Stored Procedures (2008/2012)
• SSRS
• Moderate knowledge of .NET (Web technologies) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute Spotfire-based reports and visualizations.
• Expertise in complex SQL queries and store procedures and integration with Spotfire.
• Refine client requirements and guide them through the decision making process.
