We have an urgent requirement of WebSphere consultant to Support IBM WebSphere on Windows Application with one of our direct client in WA.

 

Position: Websphere Consultant Location: Tumwater, WA Duration: 6-12 months, extension possible up to two years Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, optimize, monitor, maintain, upgrade, configure, deploy and ensure ongoing availability of WAS, on Windows servers, to include an extensive VMware virtual environment, in which most of Client's server infrastructure functions. Define, document and implement WebSphere architecture, strategy and direction. Look for ways to provide improvements to WAS Services. Make written recommendations (with Pros|Cons and options identified), define the ROI, and plan the implementation of these improvements, using clients change control process. Define and adhere to standards and best practices for WAS design, testing, implementation, and creation of appropriate levels of system documentation.
