Position-Build Engineer
Location: Center City Philadelphia
Duration: 6+ months
Required Qualifications
•BS in a related field or equivalent experience, e.g. Computer Engineering, Computer Science
•Technical support experience in Open Source C++/Linux type applications
•Strong scripting and development background: develops software in several modern languages (Ruby, Python, Bash, etc.)
•Strong knowledge of network protocols as well as Web software architecture and frameworks
•Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, and solid experience in high performance distributed computing
•Strong understanding of virtualization technologies: VMware ESXi, Cisco UCS, etc.
•Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and system failure analysis
•Experience with deployment automation tools (Puppet, Spacewalk, mCollective, Capistrano, Frbric, Func, etc)
•Experience with git/svn/cvs and software development
•Adept and comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment required
