HOT New Requirement for 2 - AS/400 RPG-ILE Programmers in NJ

Immediate need for 2 consultants AS/400 RPG-ILE Programmers. This is VERY HOT!!!!

 

***Must be local to NJ candidates – client is doing face to face interviews only***

 

Duration - 6–12 months but could go longer.

Rate - $75-85/hr C2C all inclusive

Location – East Rutherford, NJ

 

Must have excellent communication skills.

 

**Candidate must have experience with JDE and EDI to qualify***

 

Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·         Analyze, evaluate, design, develop, modify, and test computer application systems. Work independently on system projects of moderate complexity and under general supervision.

·         Analyze development and testing of new applications.

·         Manage the maintenance and enhancements of the existing Wholesale ERP (RLM) system and its custom applications.

·         Interfaces from and to RLM – JDE.

·         Software support and problem resolution.

·         Responsible individual has the ability to troubleshoot, self motivated, can multi-task and is committed to meeting project deadlines.

·         Produces accurate logical and efficient application modifications which conform to the specifications and schedules provided

·         Devises and modifies procedures to solve problems or limitations and produce the desired results

 

Job Requirements:

 

·         7+ years of experience with RPG-ILE, Embedded SQL programming on iSeries/AS400.

·         Must have extensive knowledge of JDE system.

·         Knowledge of JDA and MMS a plus.

·         EDI all documents.

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills a must.

·         Complete knowledge of several versions of RPG such as RPG III, RPG IV, RPG ILE, and RPG Free as well as free formats SDA, CLLE, CLP and SQL.

·         Ability to work as a team player and manage multi-faceted business processes; such as inventory, ordering, purchasing, costing applications.

·         Ability to analyze work processes and business logic

·         Ability to execute plans and projects through others

·         Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

·         Adhere to policies related to project management processes
