Additional details:

Need someone with financial industry experience (JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, etc.) as well as strong Core Java (not just Java/J2EE) experience.

Summary:
The main function of an analyst/developer is to develop and design the core libraries used by all strategic applications. A typical analyst/developer is responsible for identifying common use cases and creating simple sharable solutions for them as well as on going enhancements and maintenance.

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
• 7+ years of experience required.
• Financial industry experience required.
• Expert knowledge of the Java programming language and design patterns.
• Expert knowledge of HTTP and REST
• Basic knowledge of C# and SQL.
• Experience with message oriented middleware and advantage
• Basic knowledge of C++ and advantage.
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
