Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Proven experience with object oriented analysis and design using UML and data modelling
· Advance Knowledge of UI languages and technology such as JSP, CSS, JavaScript, JQUERY, AJAX, JSON,HTML
· Advance Knowledge on Core Java Development include JDK 1.5+
· Advance knowledge in J2EE components such as EJB(Session / Entity / Message Driven beans), JTA, Filters, Servlets
· Good knowledge of the Spring 3.x Framework , Struts 1 and 2 Framework
· Good knowledge of java webservers like Tomcat and application servers like Jboss.
· Good knowledge of various development methodology- Agile, test-driven development, and waterfall
· Basic Knowledge of Java and J2ee design patterns.
· Familiarity with java coding standards and best practices for application development
· Experience with MS SQL, Db2, Oracle and writing Stored Procedures.
· Must understand and written unit tests (Test driven developers are a plus).
· Experience with source code revisions – SVN, Clearcase
· Experience with IDE – Eclipse, STS, sql tools and build – ANT, Maven
· Trouble-shoot PRODUCTION issues and assist in development of remediation fixes.
· Performing code review and assist in fixing them.
· Assist in recommend and facilitate future maintenance and enhancements.
· Assist in diagnose and correct system problems, Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Maintains Test and UAT environments.
· Lead project delivery and work with Product, BA and QA teams for project delivery on assigned projects.
