Security Analyst
Location: NYC/Long Island City
Length: 6 – 12 months contract
Travel: 5-10%
Position Summary:
The Analyst develops and maintains JetBlue Airways' Compliance Maintenance Program, Security Awareness Program and supports all other IT Security programs and initiatives.
Essential Functions:
•Ensures that the appropriate information security policies, standards, procedures, and best practices are developed, communicated, and followed
•Participates in Project Management activities to support IT Security programs and initiatives
•Works with internal and external Auditors to assess compliance with policies, standards, procedures, and best practices
•Maintains systemic, analytical Compliance programs
•Works with internal and external auditors to assess annual regulatory compliance
•Participates in the development and delivery of a comprehensive information security training program that provides the appropriate training for all crewmembers
•Markets information security to all Crewmembers to achieve a high degree of awareness
•Gathers and reports metrics which fully reveal the state of information security at JetBlue Airways
Below are the "Qualifications", but the immediate needs are someone with a good working knowledge of:
· Tibco LogLogic LX & ST appliances
· Rapid7 Nexpose Vulnerability Scanner
Summary of Requirements:
1. Perform Project Management activities for all security projects
2. Work with Auditors to assess security compliance
3. Maintain systemic compliance programs
4. Develop and deliver a comprehensive information security training program
5. Gather and report metrics which fully reveal the state of information security at client
6. Have to have these things:
Tibco Log-Logic LX & ST appliances
Rapid7 Nexpose Vulnerability Scanner
7. Security related certification (e.g. CISSP, CISA)
8. (4) years Information Security & Compliance experience
9. PCI, PII, Privacy Laws, SOX
10. Knowledge of ISO 17799 and NIST SP 800:30 as was as other security standards
11. Understanding of core security principles
12. Familiar in managing Security Awareness Programs
13. Familiar with Risk Management Practices
