Position: IOS / Android Developer
Location: Emeryville, CA
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate:$50/hr on C2C
Cool Stuff you will be doing…
· Develop and port feature rich mobile multimedia applications on a variety of handsets and mobile platforms such as Android, iOs and WinPhone.
· Within the Agile framework of Software Development, collaborate with the product owners on feature definition.
· Work closely with Scrum Masters on sprint deliverables and project schedules.
· Participate in bug scrubs and provide technical guidance to the test teams to build manual and automated test suites
· Collaborate with OEMs to make their handsets compliant with the MobiTV suite of requirements
· Assist the Deployment, Operations, and Sales teams with the investigation and resolution of customer issues.
· Work closely with technical writers to ensure detailed product documents are maintained.
What you bring to the Table…
· You're smart problem-solving approach to software design and development
· Your enthusiasm and collaborative work ethic
· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
· Strong experience working on one or more of the following:
· Lower level Android frameworks (NDK/Media/OD porting)
· In-depth mobile device development of platforms such as iOS, WinPhone or BB10
· Past experience working on Android based connected devices such as Set top boxes is a plus
· Ability to effectively communicate your opinion on scalable design options.
· Solid understanding of Agile development process
· Strong time-management and independent judgment skills
· Experience developing consumer facing mobile applications
· Participation in Open Source development
· Knowledge and experience working on streaming audio and video
