We are looking for a WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Administrator to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.

This is a Contract extendible Position based in Cranston, Rhode Island.

 

Role: WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Administrator

Locations: Cranston, Rhode Island

Duration: 6 months Contract

Experience   : 6+ Yrs

 

Job Description:

 

Required

 

·         6+ years of experience as WebSphere administrator

·         Advanced level of server configurations and deployments

·         Experience should include Web Sphere application servers of the following:

o   Web sphere Admin servers 6.1, 7.0,7.1 , 7.5 and 8.0

o   Knowledge in MQ, MB preferred

·         Good communication skills required (oral and written)

·         Troubleshoot the environment and identify the root cause of the problem and proposes the resolution.

·         Ability to cross skill on the technologies required for the project.

·         Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)

·         Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile issues or complete critical path projects
