Direct Client Requirement

Position: System Administrator

Duration: 24 Months Contract

Location: Albany, NY

Rate on W2/C2C: $Open

 

Job Description: 

·         Server back up and security

·         Performance tuning and capacity planning

·         Operations and troubleshooting

·         Understanding of network and distributed computing concepts

 

Requested Qualifications:

·      84+months installing, configuring, upgrading and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers in an enterprise Data Center environment.

·     84+ months networking experience integrating, supporting and troubleshooting Linux systems in N-Tier firewalled, load balanced Data Center networks.

·   84+ months installing and supporting Web related software applications on Linux servers.

·   60+ months installing, configuring, upgrading and supporting Linux servers running as VMware ESX virtual machines.

·    60+ months installing, configuring and supporting Linux servers running on Fiber Channel SAN and IP based iSCSI and Centera attached storage.

·    84+ months of IT Service Management (project, service catalog, change andincident management) interaction with customers, other support teams and vendors on projects supporting 24x7 systems.
