Required skills

•             Strong Java

•             Multi-threading (java.util.concurrent)

•             JVM internals (Heap/PermGen)

•             JVM monitoring (jmx, jmap, jstack, jconsole, visualjvm etc)

•             Git

•             git bisect

•             git rebase

•             Test driven development (TDD)

•             Concise and maintainable unit-tests

•             Distributed systems

•             Some experience with ANY modern distributed system (Cassandra, Mongo, Hadoop, etc)

•             Linux

•             Comfortable with CLI

•             Basic troubleshooting

Desired skills

•             Python/Shell

•             Vagrant/Docker

•             Integration/System/API/Acceptance testing

•             Testing tools (CI servers, Jmeter, etc)

Job Responsibilities

•             Senior Software Engineer and a technical expert for large team

•             Design and implement integration to other systems

•             Effectively use services and APIs, key customizations and extensions of the systems

•             Work collaboratively with other application teams

•             Work with globally diversified team in different time zone

•             Guide & mentor other team members

•             Work on more than one project simultaneously
