Position: AIX Admin

Location: Stow MA

Duration: 8 months

Responsibilities

· Connect systems to the new storage arrays via SAN zoning
· Present LUNs from the new storage arrays to systems
· Migrate data via AIX mirroring, Linux mirroring or Windows
· Other Storage Administration tasks as assigned

Must Have Skills:

· Thorough understanding and experience with AIX o/s with experience with

o LPARs
o NPIV
o native AIX multipathing
o AIX mirroring
o AIX clusters

· Linux (particularly Red Hat) admin experience
· Experience with Brocade SAN switches
· Understanding of data migration techniques for UNIX, Linux and Windows
· Understanding of change management and the purpose of change control
· Excellent documentation skills

Nice to Have Skills:

· Understanding of data migration techniques for Windows
· Experience with VMware and storage vMotion
· Windows admin experience
· Experience with Remedy
· Project management skills
