Job Description:
This individual specializes in, or has intermediate to advanced experience with D3.js (JavaScript Library).
Absolute Must Have is the D3.js experience
1. 3-5 years of modern web development experience – HTML5, Javascript, CSS3, SASS
2. 2-4 years of D3.js experience with a strong knowledge of SVG objects
3. Experience with "MEAN" stack development (MySQL [or Mongo], Express, Angular, Node)
4. Experience with developing with "NoSQL" databases such as Redis (ideal), MongoDB, Lucene or Elastic
5. Experience deploying and managing applications in Node.js
6. Familiarity with Distributed Version Control Systems (DVCS) such as GIT or Mercurial. VCS systems such asSubversion okay as well
7. Experience writing REST applications (HTTP verbs, handling JSON and HTTP messages, etc)
8. Experience with relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc) – logical table design, normalization and writing applications using SQL
9. Agile development experience including working with QA, performing and responding to code reviews and story estimation
