J2EE Developer, Boston, MA. 6 months+, Will require in person interview after a successful phone screen.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop enhancements for and provide support to J2EE application.
  • Develop new business functions, including web services, using the OO Design principles
  • Troubleshoot, fix, and test issues/defects - resulting from either the change control process or production activities

Skills

  • Hands on coding experience in JAVA for at least 5 years
  • Excellent core J2SE  programming ability
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience and Strong knowledge of the following tools/ technologies & frameworks: Eclipse, Java Server Faces, Facelets, Spring
  • Application/Portal server: Weblogic 10.x
  • RDBMS: Oracle 10g
  • Good knowledge of J2EE design patterns and web services
  • Knowledge of following Java community tools/frameworks/app. Servers  preferred: Primefaces, SVN, JUnit,

Experience

  • Three to Five years of system development experience in Java technologies
  • Experience with web service development will be a plus

Education

  • At a minimum, a Bachelor's degree with a major in the field of computer or information science
