We are looking for a SBC Design Engineer to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.

This is 6 Months Contract based in Philadelphia, PA.

 

Role: SBC Design Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 6 Months Contract

 

Job Description:

Qualifications Basic

·         Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education

·         Experience working in a software environment in a solution design and engineering role

·         At least 4-5 years' experience in supporting VOIP, IMS or similar applications.

·         Excellent knowledge on SIP Protocol and Routing

 

Must

·         Excellent knowledge on the various roles of SBCs in a VOIP network

·         Hands-on knowledge of Session Border Controllers from ACME or SONUS is a MUST

 

Preferred        

·         Experience on End-to-end Architecture and Design of VOIP Routing solutions

·         Good knowledge on IMS, Telephony Application Servers, SIP Proxies, SBCs, SIP Load Balancers etc.

·         Experience working with protocols like SIP, DIAMETER, ENUM/DNS etc.

·         Good insight on SIP RFCs

·         Exhibit technical confidence and have good communication skills

·         Experience in all areas of a solution deployment – Design and Architecture, Testing, Operations and Technical Guidance

·         Good analytical and logical reasoning skills

·         Adept and comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment required
