Job Role: Sr. Data Engineer

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Description:

·         Experience in delivering scalable big data analytics solutions using technologies such as Vertica, Hadoop, Yarn, Oozie, Hive, Avro, Spark, Scala, Java, Python, Scipy and R.

·         5+ years of experience developing high availability, scalable, medium to large scale system.

·         Hands-on experience with distributed processing and storage technologies, such as HBase and other NoSQL technologies.

·         Hands-on experience with indexing solution, such as ElasticSearch and Apache Solr/ Lucene is a plus.

·         Design and implement scalable workflows for local data processing, quality monitoring and reporting.

·         Design and implement scalable workflows for data analytics to gain in-depth insights into points-of-interest and related data and it's usage.
