Job Description

 

Client is using complete Microsoft and Sql Server 2008, 2012 databases, they want a Business Analyst who will be in touch with the users and gathering requirements from them and clients itself, he will be creating reports using Microsoft BI tools SSRS. And will be working on Sharepoint application of client has with them

 

Position Description

Responsible for support of multiple functional areas in the capacity of gathering requirements, performing analysis, supporting the development and testing processes to provide adequate solutions, data and associated technologies.

• Analyzes and provides reporting data solutions on complex business problems to be solved with current BI stack or other resources.
• Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing data models and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
• Work with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into solution design and testing. 
• Act as a resource to users of business applications and procedures.
• Researches, plans, coordinates and recommends BI technology choices to meet the company's business requirements.
• Utilizes knowledge and skills to address business challenges to improve efficiency and decision making, reduce redundancy and enhance business results.

Technical Skills:

• Must have Microsoft BI stack SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
• Must have experience working with Microsoft BI Reporting tools building end user reports through enterprise reporting/BI tools. 
• Must be able to code stored procedures and be comfortable with SQL, TranSQL in SQL 2008 or 2012
• Exposure or experience with: SharePoint, PerformancePoint, PowerPivot, Dashboards, KPIs, Power BI (Cloud based BI from Microsoft)
