Work Location: Houston, TX

Role	Hadoop Senior Programmer
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills	• Broad understanding of Hadoop ecosystem and distributed cluster environment with exposure to Elasticsearch, Spark, Cassandra, Spring,  Hive, Pig. • Hands-on experience in Big Data technologies like HADOOP,PIG, HIVE, HBASE Flume, Kafka etc. • Hands on experience in Apache Storm, Zookeeper, Apache Flume and Apache Sqoop • Expert in analyzing data to understand data types, related data, and transformation processes • Expert in SQL scripting, stored procedures, and construction of highly complex queries • Experience/Exposure to NoSQL Database and Data Modeling.
Roles and responsibility	• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, particularly those that apply to a large dataset environment • Excellent communication skills, particularly those relating to complex findings and presenting them to appropriate audience • Good skills at developing Thought papers / White papers • Ability to integrate research and best practices into problem avoidance and continuous improvement • Ability to work in a fast paced, test-driven collaborative and iterative programming environment • Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results • Customer service oriented as well as open minded and solution oriented is required
