Job Description
Reporting to the Quality Director, the QA Project Manager will support or drive the delivery of key projects within the Life Insurance Division. The Quality Assurance (QA) Project Manager acts as a central coordination and communication point for all test qualification activities. The QA Project Manager will create test milestones, track defect resolution, perform root cause analysis and report status for each testing effort through Production release. As a QA Project Manager, you will influence positive change to testing processes by developing workable solutions aligned with business objectives. You are a self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership. You possess excellent project management skills, and exemplary communication skills. You have the ability to resolve conflicts and drive issues to resolution. You are encouraged to see the big picture, be creative, and positively impact the quality of deliverables.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end testing activities for multiple/all tracks within a large project for LID.
• Manage the Test Effort Estimation, Resource Demand and Capacity Planning Management.
• Practice Quality Metrics to drive process improvements, identify issues and risks.
• Requires quality oriented, results driven, high energy and a hands on team player.
• Coordinate the creation/update/review and execution of automated and manual test cases
• Communicate QA risks, milestones, and status to Leadership and Project Team.
• Evaluate QA Entrance and Exit criteria and ensure that they are met for each phase of the release cycle
• Design, prepare and report test results through data dashboards.
• Open and track defects to resolution.
• Coordinate and work with leaders and PMO to determine resources and secure capacity for QA
• Ensure the efficiency, integrity and completeness of tasks related to Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance Director to certify compliance to processes and plans.
• Implement Quality Improvement Initiatives across the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
