Position: SQL DBA
Location: 6600 Kilgour Place, Dublin, OH 43017
Duration: 4 months
Start Date: 2/29/16 or ASAP
I would prefer candidates that are LOCAL to OHIO.
Please only send me candidates that are able to come to Ohio for a FIRST-ROUND FACE-TO-FACE INTERVIEW with my client.
We are currently accepting resumes for a SQL DBA in Dublin, OH.
The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
- Provides database administration, analysis, design, maintenance, and performance tuning
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in installing & managing MS SQL instances, including 2005, 2008/2008 R2, & 2012 instances, residing in Windows 2003 & higher environments
- Proficiency with SQL Server instance architecture, installation/creation, & service pack installs/upgrades on both physical and VM servers, including standalone & clustered instances
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Query Analyzer (QA), SQL Server Configuration Manager, SQL Profiler, & Related Counters Database Security
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience as a Database Developer
- Always On principles, implementation, support, & troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Database Mirroring, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), & SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
