Our Client is seeking an Android Framework Architect
Job Description:
• Apply technical expertise to manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
• Be responsible to design, develop, deploy, maintain and enhance solutions.
• Be a critical part of the architecture of framework and will define standards and best practices.
• Own the technical implementation of projects including driving the project and providing guidance on decisions to the team on technical strategy, architecture, best practices, task assignment, and timeframes.
• Architect solutions that are shared across multiple applications. This includes architecture of new & existing applications for the Android platform, development of cutting-edge technologies, and guiding decisions on architecture and technical strategy.
• Define development/design standards and best practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define new product requirements, features & functionality.
• Interface with 3rd party vendors and potentially with external clients.
Job Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• This hands on position requires expert level proficiency in Android Applications & Android Framework, as well as Java and C.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate across multiple levels of the business.
• 10-15 years of progressive architecture experience.
• A minimum of 3 years hands-on professional Android experience.
• Prior experience in telecommunications engineering/mobile device architecture activities required.
• Must be able to write, read, analyze and interpret technical journals and procedures
• Extensive experience with Java and full command of Android APIs on all OS versions
• Experience in JNI, NDK & C/C++ Experience with web related technologies, including JavaScript, HTML 4/5, AJAX, JSON, XML
• Solid understanding of data models and data access architecture and optimization
• Strong understanding of multi-tier web architectures, and OO design patterns and concepts
