POSITION

Informatica Developer

Kansas City, MO

6 months

EAD GC/GC/USC

 

Required Qualifications:

·         Bachelors or Master's Degree in technical or business discipline or related experience required. BS in Computer Science, Math or Engineering desired  

·         A minimum of 2 years of development using Informatica Developer transformations

·         Ability to pick new tools easily*, teachability*

·         Data Integration experience, including strong time management skills, ability to design, document, develop and test data integration process from analyst specifications

·         General Data Management knowledge-mainly data lineage and metadata management

·         General knowledge of Hadoop/HDFS/Hive

·         Experience with relational databases, such as SQL Server, Oracle and ability to write SQL commands is required

 

Desired Qualifications:

·         General knowledge of Teradata processing

·         Knowledge of ELT in Teradata (PDO, optimal processes)

·         Practical skills with efficient file movement inside of Hadoop

·         Linux command line experience

·         Informatica BDM architecture knowledge

·         Scripting experience (Unix/Python/bash,bat)

·         Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.)

·         Experience working & managing modern data technologies including Hadoop, AWS, Informatica Big Data Management

·         Prior experience in development of real-time or near real-time data integration processes

·         Programming background with Unix/Python/bash, bat is strongly preferred.

·         Ability to develop Big Data architecture , experience of contributing and influencing change

·         Experience working in a similar environment (i.e. DOD / DHA services)

·         General knowledge of Teradata processing

·         Knowledge of ELT in Teradata (PDO, optimal processes)

·         Practical skills with efficient file movement inside of Hadoop

·         Linux command line experience

·         Informatica BDM architecture knowledge

·         Scripting experience (Unix/Python/bash,bat)

·         Experience with JSON, XML, EDI

·         Full phase implementation experience with Informatica ETL tool, Data warehouse and ETL design, build, test experience including requirements assessment, ownership of data integration architecture and ETL scheduling using Informatica

·         Demonstrated strength and current experience of using Informatica on Teradata and / or Hadoop

·         Experience with JSON, XML, EDI
