Full-Stack Java Developer (with PHP and Mongo)
Location: Norfolk, VA
Duration: 6-month Contract-to-Hire
Start Date: ASAP
MUST HAVES:
-->Full stack Development
-->Coding experience with Java
-->HTML/CSS experience
--> Coding experience with PHP
Interview Process: PS ; Skype/Google Hangout Start ASAP
As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will be responsible for building innovative applications as well as maintaining existing products. You will be dedicated to development utilizing a diverse set of technologies. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining deadlines, communicating effectively, keeping up with development trends and taking pride in their work.
Requirements
BA/BS in Math/Science/Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of Object Oriented programming methodologies
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript
Understanding of Java and PHP (not as much database, just front and back)
Experience with Angular.js and Node.js
Some experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL solutions)
Experience with GitHub is a plus
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience with unit testing (JUnit, PHPUnit) is a plus
Experience with Agile Software Development is a plus
Experience in developing to scale is a plus
