Job descrption:

VMWare System Administrator

Experience with Virtualization administration including:

•         Maintain, upgrade, and implement improvements to the VMWare vCenter infrastructure.

•         Maintain, upgrade, and implement improvements to the VMWare ESXi infrastructure.

•         Maintain VM templates for building servers in the virtual environment.

•         Manage Virtual Storage Pools and Virtual Distributed Network within vCenter.

•         Monitor health of VMware environment across multiple datacenter and remote offices

•         Troubleshoot and resolve issues with VMWare systems hosting Windows and Linux Operating systems.

•         Proactively monitor event logs for changes or errors and take appropriate actions to resolve issues.

•         Collaborate with team members to resolve problems.

•         Perform upgrades to Virtual Hosts and Management environment as necessary.

•         Create and maintain system documentation for updates made to the infrastructure environment.
