Position: DevOps Engineer
Location: Falls Church, VA
Duration: 6+ Months

At Least 9+ Years of Experience

Are you a DevOps/Cloud Engineer looking for a long contract in the DC area? Our Falls Church client is looking to bring on a DevOps Engineer to establish, configure and support a variety of computer environments (including super computer clusters). An Engineer that is well versed in Linux (load balancing / set-up / security) and AWS to help with ongoing development initiatives will be best suited for this opportunity.

Responsibilities: 

·         Establish, configure, and support dev environments 

·         Work closely with Senior Management 

·         Support multi-tier Dev, QA, Prod environments 

·         Managing Windows and Linux / Unix servers

·         OS patches & upgrades

·         Perform periodic performance reporting / tuning / hardware upgrades

Must haves: 

·         Strong Linux/Unix Scripting

·         Cloud Automation 

·         Configuration Management Tools (Chef / Puppet)

·         Load Balancing

·         Security

·         DevOps

·         AWS / EC2

·         Bash or Shell scripting 

·         VPN experience 

·         Cloud AWS

·         Healthcare experience (PHI Data Handling)

Nice to Have:

·         BS / BA in applicable field
