SAP Merchandise Solution Architect 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

A professional at this position level within CLIENT has the following responsibilities: Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility. Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within CLIENT, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters. Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility. Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within CLIENT. 

 

·        will provide subject matter expertise to identify and recommend workable solutions to clients 

·        Maintain an in-depth knowledge of specific technical areas and provides expert advice regarding their application and functional expertise.

·       Create and distribute reusable Solution Platform sales and delivery content to ensure scalability of solution area and group

·       Provide point of view on Solution Platform and vendor market place

·       Support the business development life cycle by serving as a solution SME and assisting with the identification and qualification of business development opportunities

·       Help lead and contribute to the estimation effort for relevant proposals and/or projects

·       Help support vendor relationship for Solution Platform sales and delivery

·       5 years utilizing SAP Apparel and Footwear Solutions (AFS) software or SAP I/S Retail

·       Minimum 10 years experience in the IT consulting or Fashion Industry Merchandising for SAP-Retail, Merchandising Financial Planning, Buying-Core Merchandising
