Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Location: Burlington, MA

Duration: Long Term

 

Job Requirement

·         Has 8+ years of hands-on experience building web-based applications and object-oriented design

·         Can work independently as well as collaborate with leadership, product & outside development resources.

·         Has expert understanding of Ruby on Rails in a SQL/MySQL database and can manipulate and author embedded Ruby code.

·         Has deep understanding of unit testing tools, such as RSpec.

·         Highly proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

·         Comfortable working as a member of a team on a shared codebase via GitHub or Bitbucket.

·         Can perform relational database querying (MySQL, Postgres, etc.).

·         Has experience working with IaaS Cloud hosting solutions, including AWS as well as deployment tools.

·         Experienced working in an agile software development environment.

 

Primary responsibilities include: 

·         Collaborating with Product-Engineering team to build scalable, full-stack Cloud-based offerings.

·         Serving as the Ruby on Rails and software development subject matter expert to rest of team.

·         Providing daily maintenance of existing application, including bug fixes, back-end tools, etc.

·         Collaborating with product head/team, leadership team, and offsite development resources.

·         Providing proper documentation and the organization of files.

·         Keep up-to-date with technical trends in the industry and evaluate the adoption of new technologies.
