Role: BI Business Analyst
Location: Torrance, CA
This is a long term (12+ months)
Client: Honda
Must have EXCELLENT comm skills.
Must have BI Requirements Gathering, Test Planning, Process Control, Documentation and Training
Local candidates highly preferred!
Responsibilities
1. Ability to work with and communicate with a team of Developers/Analysts and non-technical Business Stakeholders
2. Ability to plan unit testing, system testing and UAT.
3. Ability to document system functionality.
4. Ability to coordinate training activities between project teams and training team
5. Monitor existing processes and ability to identify the current- and future-state business processes.

3. Project coordination between business and technical teams
4. Process monitoring
Musts
1. Requirements Gathering: Defining, analyzing and documenting requirements. Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders.
2. Test Planning: Oversee the testing plan between developers' testing (e.g. unit testing, system testing, etc.), Testing Management Team testing, and Business User Testing (e.g. UAT).
3. Process Control: Monitor existing processes, always suggest ways to improve processes, and mentor team members on changes. Identify the
current- and future-state business processes. Helping the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future
4. Documentation and Training: Maintain corporate knowledge by documenting system functionality, coordinate training activities between project teams and training team, and ensure complete documentation of new project according to ISD Project Methodology.
