Will work across HQ and Regional offices to provide world-class customer service to all users of Linux, Storage and Backup systems, comprising:
- RHEL / CentOS
- Oracle Enterprise Linux
- Fedora
- Ubuntu
- Cisco FC SAN
- EMC VMAX
- EMC Isilon
Essential
- Working expert knowledge of server infrastructure and administration for Linux kernels
- Multidimensional application of knowledge from CPU through FC or IP network, to a storage array and back.
- Hybrid array or enterprise array experience
- HP's Data Protector or other enterprise backup software
- Demonstrable passion for learning new technologies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Essential
A minimum of 5 years commercial IT technical support experience working successfully in a large scale and complex service management environment
- Demonstrable knowledge of support systems and processes coupled with strong analytical skills
- Previous experience in providing excellent customer service to customers at a variety of levels
