Location : Miami, FL & Seattle, WA

Duration : 12+ Month(s)

Note : Must be Citizen or GC Holder

 

POSITION: Network Engineer III

 

Experience

Position requires at least 5 years' experience with enterprise class data networks and/or data centers.  This includes hands-on configuration and troubleshooting the following technologies & platforms: Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ISR, and ASR series switches and routers

Knowledge Areas:

Routing

• EIGRP, OSPF

• BGP, MPLS – nice to have

 

Switching

• LACP, VPC

• RSTP+, RPVSTP

• Port security, BDPU Guard, Portfast

• Trunking and pruning

 

Firewalls

• VPN, NAT, ACLs, Zoning

• Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Juniper

 

Wireless

• Cisco WISM or WLC with lightweight APs

• Cisco infrastructure Aps

 

Load Balancing

• HSRP, GLBP, VRRP

• 5 LTM / GTM

• Netscaler – nice to have

 

Diagnostic tools

• Wireshark, Netflow, NMap

• Splunk, Syslog

• Solarwinds, Nagios

 

Other

• Riverbed

• AAA with Cisco ACS or Clearpath

• SNMP, DHCP, DNS

• QOS

• Familiarity with VMware, servers and storage and how they interface with the network Customer Service

• Ability to travel up to 30% of time – International travel requires possession or obtainment of a valid passport within 30 days of hire

• Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Ability to work across various vertical and geographically dispersed teams

• Ability to work both as a member of a team and independently

• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities

• Ability to meticulously document design and implementation features (Visio, Excel, Word, etc.)

• Knowledge of ITIL & ability to follow change management processes and procedures
