Job Description:
Members of the sysops team provide day to day management and support of internally development applications that support the Managed Security Services business units. The architecture consists of several hundred systems distributed in multiple datacenters globally. The systems run multiple in-house developed applications running as well as multiple COTS applications.
We are looking hand's on technical people with a proven background in supporting a fast paced, complex, 24/7 critical infrastructure, across a diverse skill-set. Successful candidates will have a real passion for technology and have a broad knowledge across networks and systems.
Build and automation of MSS infrastructure including technologies such as:
• Linux - CentOS/Redhat
• Windows
• VMware
• Vertica
• Puppet
• MS SQL
• mySQL
• Checkpoint
• Icinga
• Opsview
Key Responsibilities include:
• Monitor and work the support incident and change requests queues, fixing issues or reassigning to SME's.
• Day to day maintenance of the systems, scheduled tasks, capacity monitoring, business continuity operations and a role in the replication of the existing architecture as part of a global expansion.
• Perform daily system monitoring, validating both the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, applications and key processes, reviewing system and application logs and confirming the successful completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Application of OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, including administration tools and utilities. Configuration of/add new services as necessary.
• Perform ongoing system/application performance tuning, hardware upgrades and resource optimization as required. Configuration of CPU, memory and disk partitions as per required.
• Create and maintain RCA's for system outages/incidents.
• Collaborate with regional teams to ensure consistent processes and procedures across all instances.
• Installation of new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, settings, services, directories, storage, etc. In accordance with recognized best practices and company specific project/operational standards.
• Ensure that the infrastructure systems are designed, built, maintained and operated in a secure fashion to ensure the availability and usability of the systems and the protection of the data they contain. Secure operation of these systems is essential, and the candidate will need to demonstrate an appreciation of their role and responsibilities for maintaining that security.
• The role will require a proactive approach to gaining knowledge of a complex infrastructure though consulting system SMEs, self-learning and self-discovery.
Requirement 2:
Role: Mobile Application Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 12+ months
Job Description:
Job Summary: Architect, build and enhance intuitive and effective native mobile user applications to enhance communication and health outcomes in a 21st century healthcare experience. Coordinate and manage disparate development teams provided by multiple vendors/partners as well as teams across different internal business units.
Essential Job Functions:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent ability to break down a UI doc into mobile components that make sense and assemble them into a streamlined app
• Excellent attention to detail in regard to aesthetics and functionality
• Possess a keen sense of what makes a successful user interface
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• 5+ years in a mobile development role
• Experience with iOS and Android native development
• Strong knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS and REST style architectures
• Experience with online video both VOD, streaming and peer-to-peer
• Comcast and/or cable experience preferred
